Our lab studies nutritional regulation of immune responses. In this seminar, I will present recent work demonstrating how high fat, high sugar diets dramatically remodel immune responses in the context of inflammatory skin disease, altering pathology and responses to targeted immunotherapies. I will then present ongoing work describing the effects of ketogenic diets on immune responses, with similar and different effects to that of high fat, high sugar diets.
