Seattle, Washington I studied chemistry at Pomona College, and there, I found that endless hours spent in lab are much more enjoyable when I can connect the work to tangible results and the possibility of improving life for real people. A desire to do research that matters brought me to toxicology, and the strong program, the unique emphasis, and the very friendly, down-to-earth students, staff, and faculty brought me to UC Berkeley. 2nd year Molecular Toxicology.
