I grew up in Elk River, Minnesota, 30 miles northwest of Minneapolis. B.A. in Chemistry from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, MN. The research opportunities at Berkeley were hard to beat. The lack of snow in winter was icing on the cake. Comparative Biochemistry. PhD Candidate. Joseph Napoli Lab. I’m an avid football fan, who enjoys reliving my glory days on the intramural field, watching the NFL games in the fall (Go Vikings!) and attempting to draft the best fantasy team every year. In addition, I enjoy fishing, watching non-football sports, traveling, and, of course, spending time with friends and family. |
