Connecticut natively, however I spent a large piece of my adult life in Boston before arriving in Berkeley.
What brought me here:
The concentration of great thinkers in the bay area, coupled with the dedicated metabolism program at UCBerkeley brought me here. And let's not forget the mild winters.
Outside of lab I love:
Running, biking, hiking to new places, cooking, amateur photography, discovering new music and musicians, sharing good wine with great company, and hosting family/friends from out East.
