I'm from:
I am from Tokyo, Japan. I received a B.S. and M.S. degree from International Christian University.
What brought me here:
Since high school, I’ve always wanted to involve in research projects that can improve human health, and among various research topics, I was especially interested in elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms of aging and exploring the therapeutic targets that can extend the human lifespan and reverse aging. I believe UC Berkeley provides me with the excellent research opportunity and environment to cultivate me into an independent scientist, and they brought me here.
Outside of the lab I love:
I love traveling and taking long walks. I also like hanging out with friends and going on a hike/day trips.
