I'm from:
Los Alamos, NM
What brought me here:
What brought me to UC Berkeley is a combination of the following attributes and experiences: 1) an unceasing curiosity and work ethic engrained within me by my beloved family, 2) a deep passion for understanding the biochemical intricacies of health and disease fostered by the University of Puget Sound, 3) an eagerness to ask new and daring scientific questions kindred by Dr. Helen Su’s lab at the NIH, and 4) the readiness for a challenge posed by the incredibly collaborative and innovative faculty within the NST department.
Outside of lab I love:
Outside of lab, I love running, backpacking, doing yoga, snowboarding - really anything else that gets my body outside and moving. But, on the calmer side of things, I also enjoy knitting and spending time with friends, family, and associated critters.
