I’m from:
Shanghai, China. I received a B.S. degree with a concentration in genetics from
Cornell University.
What brought me here:
I believe that health is the foundation of everyone’s lifelong happiness, thus pursuing a
career in biomedical research. I am particularly interested in the field of aging, which I
think may significantly impact human health in the near future. I find many academic
opportunities and resources here to support my goal. Also, Berkeley’s weather, food, and
entertainment are far better than many other places, so living here for years would be
enjoyable.
Outside of lab I love:
Anime, play board games, and read books.
