Master of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics

The 21-month Master of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics (MNSD) program prepares students for a career as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. The program provides the required coursework and supervised practice internship hours for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credentialing examination eligibility. It is a professional master's degree program and students earn the degree designation MNSD.

There is a place for all interests and backgrounds in this program and graduates of any bachelor’s program, including dietetics, are welcome to apply for admission as long as they have completed the prerequisite coursework prior to the start of classes.

The current class is a mix of future dietitians with:

  • interests in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, sports nutrition, eating disorders, private practice, and more

  • a variety of educational backgrounds

  • a variety of prior experiences and careers

  • from locations across the globe

We Offer

  • Graduate degree, dietetics coursework and supervised practice internship rotations offered together in a clinically-focused Future Education Model Graduate Program

  • In-person program- all courses and rotations take place within the San Francisco Bay Area

  • No need to find your own preceptors for the supervised practice internship hours
